The memorial stands on the main concourse to the left of the platforms and destination boards, it consists of a marble wall inscribed with the names of those commemorated. The original memorial was erected in 1920 by the Great Northern Railway, this new memorial was erected in 1973 by the British Railways Board, using the original name panels.
