Moora was a major training centre in World War II.

Plaque to the 14 killed in the mortar bomb accident: the Karrakatta Cemetery is presumably the Karrakatta War Cemetery. Karrakatta is a suburb of Perth.

Some clever artisan or farmer made Old Digger “Scrapiron” out of an ingenious collection of farm machine and machinery parts.
