This cemetery contains 40 Commonwealth burials, many of which are from the Cheshire Regiment and all of whom were killed on the 24th August 1914 and originally buried on the battlefields. There is also 1 French burial.

 

GENERAL DIRECTIONS: the cemetery is 22km south west of Mons on the road leading from the N51 connecting Mons to Valenciennes in France. 19km along the N51 is a left turn at Quievrain onto the rue des Wagons, after passing through Baisieux you reach the village of Audregnies. The cemetery is 800m along the rue la Ville, a road which leads from Audregnies to Augre.

 

Access and parking are easy, but it should be noted that visiting is restricted to normal cemetery opening hours.
