WW2 Memorial within the Churchyard
| Aigny is a commune in the Department
of the Marne, 17 kilometres north-west of Châlons-en-Champagne. The
Churchyard is beside the church in the centre of the village and contains
one Commonwealth burial of the First World War. The grave is near the left
hand boundary towards the rear of the Churchyard. There is also a
commemorative plaque to the memory of the crew of Lancaster W4930 which
crashed in the village. The crew are buried in Chalons-en-Champagne Communal
