| Esquelmes Churchyard is located 10 km
north of Tournai on the rue M Delroeux a road leading from the N50
connecting Tournai to Kortrijk (Courtrai). 10 km north of Tournai lies the
right hand turning from the N50 rue de Tournai onto rue du Village. The Rue
du Village leads for 800 metres to the village of Esquelmes. The churchyard
is located in the rue M. Delroeux the third right hand turning from the rue
du Village.
Esquelmes Churchyard contains ten Commonwealth burials of the First World War, all dating from October and November 1918, and the Advance to Victory. No. of Identified Casualties: 10 |
