Location Information: The village of Herchies is located north-west of the town of Mons off the N56. From the motorway E19/E42 turn off at junction 23 onto the N56 direction Ath. Follow the N56 to the town of Jurbise and then turn left in the town towards Erbaut along rue Anglais. Follow the main road through Erbaut and along to Herchies, in the village take the first main turning right along rue Valerie Bernard, then at the church bear right along Route de Lens. The cemetery is along here on the right. The location of the graves is unknown. Herchies Communal Cemetery contains eight Commonwealth burials of the First World War.
