Moy-de-L'Aisne is a village and commune 12 kilometres south-south-east of St. Quentin and 2 kilometres east of the N44 road to La Fere. The cemetery is in a by-road west of the village and off the D3412 road which leads from the main road (N44) to Moy-de-L'Aisne. In the south-western corner two British airmen of the 1939-1945 War are buried alongside five British soldiers of the 1914-1918 War.

L/Cpl. William RYAN. 20th Hussars. 29th Aug. 1914, aged 21 Son of Patrick and Esther Ryan of 14 Portland Place, Carlisle. Born at Carlow, Ireland


Major Foster SWETENHAM, 2nd Dragoon Guards (Royal Scots Greys) 28th Aug. 1914, aged 38. Husband of Muriel Gladys Swetenhem. Also served in the South African Campaign.


Quartermaster Sgt. Edward James TOMPKINS. 12th (Price of Wales) Lancers. 28th Aug. 1914, aged 31. Son of Joseph and Sarah Tompkins of Wimbledon. Husband of Edith Mary Tompkins, 15 Tower Road, St. Leonards-on-Sea. Also served in the South African War.
