Nauroy Communal Cemetery

Nauroy is a commune 28 kilometres south of Cambrai and 13 kilometres north of St Quentin. The Commonwealth war grave is located on the right hand side through the Communal Cemetery entrance. Nauroy near the St. Quentin Canal and the Hindenburg Line. It was captured by the 30th American Division on the 29th September, 1918. In the small Communal Cemetery (which is used by the Protestant population) is buried one United Kingdom soldier who fell in October, 1918.

Gnr. Oliver Cuthbert DENNIS.  "D" Bty. 84th Bde. Royal Field Artillery. Died 4th October 1918. Age 21. Son of Oliver Cuthbert and Emma Dennis, of Aberdeen House, Seaford, Sussex.
