| Rumaucourt is a village and commune in
the Department of the Pas-de-Calais approximately 15 kilometres north-west
of the town of Cambrai. From the D939 main Arras to Cambrai road, follow
signs to Rumaucourt along the D19. The Commonwealth graves are located
within the communal cemetery which is situated on the left hand side of the
road on entering the village. On the other side of the road is a large
German Military Cemetery. There are now nearly 30, 1914-18 war casualties commemorated in this site. Of these, a small number are unidentified and eight which cannot be exactly located are represented by special memorials. Fifty-five German graves have been removed to the German Cemetery. |
