Sainghin-enWeppes is a town in the Department of the Nord, some 10 kilometres north-east of La Bassée. From the church head north and turn right at the roundabout. The cemetery is 500 metres on the left hand side and the Commonwealth burials are near the main entrance to the cemetery.

There are now nearly 30, 1914-18 war casualties commemorated in this site. Of these, almost 10 are unidentified and special memorials are erected to three others whose graves cannot be located. These men died in 1914-15, and were buried by the enemy. Three Indian graves have been removed to Rue-David Military Cemetery, Fleurbaix.
