Sains-en-Amienois Communal Cemetery

Sains-en-Amienois is a commune in the Department of the Somme some 8 kilometres south of Amiens. When in Sains-en-Amienois take the road on your right before the church, and the cemetery is located a little further on your right. The First World War graves are situated within the area of the French military plot in the north-eastern corner.

Lt. John Harry KNOX. 2nd Canadian Railway Troops. Died 30th March 1918, aged 23. Son of Mr. Y. H. and Mary Knox of 38 Hill Holme Road, Toronto


Pte. Hedley George LITTLEPROUD. 2/7th Bn. Lancashire Fusiliers. Died of wounds 31st March 1918, aged 25. Son of the late Alfred and Harriet Littleproud of Gayton, King's Lynn, Norfolk; husband of Charlotte Emily Littleproud of 6 Trafalgar Street, Lowestoft, Suffolk
