Vis-en-Artois Communal Cemetery

Vis-en-Artois is a village in the Department of the Pas-de-Calais, on the D939 main road from Arras to Cambrai. From the main road through the village (Rue André Mercier) travelling towards Arras, take the right fork towards the end of the village and keep left at the next fork on to the Rue de l'Offussé. The communal cemetery is on the right and contains one airmen of the Great War.

Burial details:

Second Lt. Roland Murray WILSON-BROWNE, Royal Flying Corps. 31st July 1916, aged 19.
Son of Arthur Edward and Camilla Muriel Wilson Browne of Ravenscliffe, Sutton-Coldfield, Warwickshire

Note: CWGC show date of death as 21st July 1916, headstone shows 31st July 1916.
