Agenvillers is in the Department of the Somme, north-east of Abbeville. The Churchyard is located on the Rue du Château.

Historical Information


Agenvillers Churchyard contains one Commonwealth burial of the First World War.


Shot at Dawn:

11850 Private J Tongue, 1st Bn. King's (Liverpool Regiment), executed for desertion 08th January 1917, N.E. Corner.
His execution was recorded after the war in the official casualty records, listed simply as having ‘Died’. (Putkowski, p. 156)
