Location Information

Aix-en-Issart is a small village located east of Montreuil-sur-Mer in the Pas De Calais region of France. The Churchyard is located south of the village.

William George Gregory Harper D. C. M. 
Royal Horse Guards
28th April 1916, aged 24.

Son of William George Gregory Harper and Alice Harper, of Reading; husband of Elsie Briggs (formerly Harper), of 1, Upper Green Avenue, Scholes, Cleckheaton, Yorks. (Grave located near west corner of Churchyard).

His headstone bears the inscription "Sweetest Of Memories Are All That Are Left Of A Dear Loving Husband One Of The Best"
