Location Information

Bormes-les-Mimosas is a commune in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France. The Communal cemetery is located North of the town on the D41 (Route-de-Baguier).


Visiting Information

On the South (right) side of the main path, beyond the War Memorial, are buried two Commonwealth casualties from the First World War.


Burial Details


42548 Private William Henry Bland, 1st Bn. King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry, died 4th May 1917, aged 41. Son of the late Tom and Sarah Bland; husband of Clara Pettinger Bland, of 42, Wellington St., Nottingham. INSCRIPTION. NOT MY WILL O LORD BUT THINE BE DONE.

202571 Private H. Reynolds, 1st/4th Bn. The Buffs (East Kent Regiment), died 4th May 1917, aged 21. Son of John and Alice Reynolds, of Chapel End, Broxted, Dunmow, Essex.
