Location Information

Bousbecque is a commune, some 12 kilometres north-north-west of Tourcoing. From the commune take the D64 for Lille (road opposite church). This leads directly to the cemetery.

The graves are situated in 2 plots of three on each side of the path of the French military plot on the left hand side of the cemetery.


Visiting Information

The cemetery opening times are:

Winter months: 09.00 - 16.00
Summer months: 07.00 - 18.00


Burial Details

60009 Corporal F. Caves, 26th Bn. Royal Fusiliers, died 2nd December 1916.

15689 Private Henry Felgate, 1st Bn. North Staffordshire Regiment, died 2nd May 1916, aged 24. Son of Henry and Ellen Felgate, of 3 Church Street, Uttoxeter, Staffs.

Second Lieutenant William Longley Mills, Royal Field Artillery and 45th Squadron, Royal Flying Corps, died 9th May 1917, aged 19. Son of William Burton Saville Mills and Agnes Mills, of The Priory, Swanley, Kent.

Flight Sub-Lieutenant D. W. Ramsey, Royal Naval Air Force, died 7th July 1917, aged 20. Son of Mr. N. F. Ramsay, of The Grange, Alnmouth, Northumberland.

10391 Private J. Taylor, 13th Bn. Cheshire Regiment, died 18th May 1917.

15387 Private Thomas Tongue, 10th Bn. Royal Fusiliers, died 6th July 1917, aged 31. Son of Thomas and Sarah Tongue; husband of Annie Tongue, of 61, Wellesley St., Hockley, Birmingham.
