Bray-sur-Somme is a village about 8 kilometres south-east of Albert. The Communal Cemetery is located north of the village centre on the road to Albert (D329).
Historical Information
Bray-sur-Somme Communal Cemetery contains three Commonwealth burials of the First World War. Seven prisoners buried by the Germans in 1918 were later removed to Bronfay Farm and Bray Military Cemeteries.
Burial Details
Captain John Percival Longfield M. V. O., 3rd Bn. Norfolk Regiment, died 30th September 1915, aged 29. Son of Lt. Col. Augustus Henry and Florence Amy Longfield, of Waterloo, Mallow, Co. Cork.
5195 Private R. P. Morris, 1st/4th Bn., The Loyal North Lancashire Regiment, died 29th July 1916, aged 23. Son of Mrs. Morris, of 13, Duncan St., Horwich, Bolton.
3307 Private G. Quinn, 2nd Bn. Leinster Regiment, died 3rd August 1916.
