Location Information

Colincamps is a village in the Department of the Somme, about 12 kilometres due north of the town of Albert.  

From Albert, take the D938 towards Doullens. After the village of Bouzincourt turn right onto the D919 to Mailly Maillet. On arrival in Mailly Maillet, turn left onto the D129, then right onto the D23 to Colincamps.

The Communal Cemetery is on the right of the D23 on entering the village, and the war graves can be seen when entering the cemetery.

21640 Private Lawrence Manson Askew, 1st Bn. Canterbury Regiment, N. Z. E. F., died 23rd April 1918, aged 21. Son of Samuel Manson Askew and Margaret Askew, of Riwaka, Nelson, New Zealand.​

43958 Private Frank Roland Cummings, 
1st Bn. Canterbury Regiment, N. Z. E. F., died 23rd April 1918, aged 22. Son of Thomas F. and Rose Cummins, of 230, Norwood St., Beckenham, Christchurch, New Zealand.

51157 Private Peter Hans Jorgen Fabrin, 
1st Bn. Canterbury Regiment, N. Z. E. F., died 27th April 1918, aged 23. Son of Hans P. H. and Maren J. Fabrin, of South Norsewood, Napier, New Zealand. Native of Bunnythorpe.

46182 Private Arthur Harold Gifford, 
1st Bn. Canterbury Regiment, N. Z. E. F., died 23rd April 1918, aged 34. Son of William G. and Esther E. Gifford, of Spring Creek, Marlborough, New Zealand.

4/132 Private Francis Aloysius Ligouiri Hatwell, 
1st Bn. Canterbury Regiment, N. Z. E. F., died 24th April 1918, aged 24. Son of Joseph and Mary Ann Hatwell, of Gorge Rd., Woodville, Wellington, New Zealand. Advance guard to Samoa, Aug., 1914.

11667 Serjeant Bruce Glover Hickinbottom, 
1st Bn. Canterbury Regiment, N. Z. E. F., died 23rd April 1918, aged 20. Son of William James and Martha Hickinbottom, of 168, Huxley St., Sydenham, Christchurch, New Zealand.

21701 Lance Corporal Eric Lennox, 
1st Bn. Canterbury Regiment, N. Z. E. F., died 23rd April 1918, aged 26. Son of John and Sarah Lennox, of 23, Broadway Terrace, Wellington, New Zealand.

61700 Private Leonard Martin, 
1st Bn. Canterbury Regiment, N. Z. E. F., died 27th April 1918, aged 21. Son of James and Caroline Martin, of Moreton Rd., Carterton, Wairarapa, Wellington, New Zealand.

6/1666 Serjeant James McRohan, M. M. 
1st Bn. Canterbury Regiment, N. Z. E. F., died 25th May 1918, aged 24. Son of James and Lizzie McRohan, of 49, Turangi St., Netherby, Ashburton, Christchurch, New Zealand.
