Location Information
Courrières is a small town 12 kilometres north-east of Lens, and the Cemetery is near to the church. The Commonwealth war graves are at the bottom left-hand corner of the cemetery, near the entrance to the German Military Cemetery.
History Information
Courrières Communal Cemetery was behind the German line during almost the whole of the War and was used by the enemy. There are now 10, 1914-18 war casualties commemorated in this site.
