GPS Coordinates: Latitude: 48.62559, Longitude: -2.47022

Location Information

Pass through Erquy on N786 - direction St Brieuc Le Val Andre. Approximately 200 metres after leaving the town there is a small road on the left - direction Camping. Turn up this road and the communal cemetery can be seen on the right hand side.

On entering the cemetery go up the centre aisle, past the crucifix to a small chapel. Turn right and the grave will be found about 14 metres on the left hand side.

 
 
Burial Details

Master George Coltar, S.S. "Whitgift." Mercantile Marine, died 20th April 1916, aged 55. Son of the late Benjamin Coltar; husband of Ella G. Coltar, of 13, Preston Rd., Lytham, Lancs. His headstone bears the inscription "Requiescat In Pace"
