Location Information

Fouilloy is in the Department of the Somme, 17.7 kilometres from Albert. 

From Albert head south on the D42 in the direction of Meaulte. Drive on through Meaulte in the direction of Moreuil and Morlancourt. Carry on through Morlancourt, still on the D42 heading south, and at the junction take the D1 in the direction of Corbie (10 kilometres) heading west. 

Drive through Corbie and at the roundabout take the turning in the direction of "Fouilloy Amiens", staying on the D1. Once at Fouilloy, take the direction for "Amiens Daours". The cemetery is on the right hand side just before the "Inter Marche".


Visiting Information

Wheelchair Access possible via main entrance. 

The register is available in the Mairie from Monday and Friday from 14.00 to 17.00 Tuesday from 14.00 to 18.30 
Wednesday from 10.00 to 12.00 and Saturday from 9.00 to 11.30 


Historical Information

No. 28 Casualty Clearing Station was stationed at Fouilloy from September to November 1915, and No. 53 Casualty Clearing Station and No. 41 Stationary Hospital were there in April 1918. 

The communal cemetery contains 38 Commonwealth burials of the First World War. All date from March-October 1918.
