HOEILAART COMMUNAL CEMETERY

Vlaams-Brabant

Belgium

GPS Coordinates Latitude: 50.77222 Longitude: 4.47224

Location Information

The town of Hoeilaart is situated to the south-east of Brussels off the N4 which runs between Brussels and Wavre.

From the Brussels Ring Road R0, turn off at Junction 1 and onto the N4 in the direction of Wavre (also signed E411/A4 Namen). KEEP ON THE N4, DO NOT FOLLOW E411. At the next traffic lights turn right and cross over the motorway and follow the main road in the direction of Hoeilaart - this road is called Vuurgatstraat. After a short distance the road name changes to G. De Kleermaekerstraat and the cemetery is on this road on the right before the town. The entrance to the cemetery is a little further in the Jezus-Eiksesteenweg. The Commonwealth grave is located at the rear of the cemetery straight on from the entrance.

Historical Information

Hoeilaart Communal Cemetery contains the grave of one Commonwealth serviceman of the First World War.
