Hordain is a village and commune in the Department of the Nord, between Iwuy and Bouchain.
History Information
The Communal Cemetery was used, and extended, by the Germans; but the German graves have been removed to other cemeteries, and there remain in the North-West part of the Communal Cemetery those of three soldiers from the United Kingdom (one of whom is unidentified) who died in November, 1917.

15957 Private G. Hallam, 1st Bn. Coldstream Guards, died 28th November 1917, aged 24. Son of Thomas George and Agnes Ann Hallam, of 2, New St., Siddals Rd., Derby. INSCRIPTION. FATHER IN THY GRACIOUS KEEPING LEAVE WE NOW OUR LOVED ONE SLEEPING.
