Location Information

Houlle is a small village to the North of St. Omer. The Churchyard is located in the centre of the village. The burials are in the South-West corner.


Burial Details

11969 Corporal T. Chapman, 1st Bn. Scots Guards, died 29th October 1917, aged 21. Son of William W. Chapman, of "Margeta," Carlisle Rd. South, Airdrie.

9297 Regimental Serjeant Major Robert John Waters Ross, 1st Bn. Gordon Highlanders, died 23rd June 1916, aged 30. Son of Alexander and Rosanna Elizabeth Ross, of Walton-on-Thames.​

3606 Private Walter S. Slater, 9th Bn. Royal Sussex Regiment, died 11th December 1915, aged 38. Son of Thomas and Elizabeth Slater.

417015 Private D. Thivierge, 22nd Bn. Canadian Infantry, died 3rd September 1916.
