Location Information

Pordoi Pass is located about 12kms from Canazei in Northern Italy. See map below for actual location


Historical Information

Near the pass lies the Austro-Hungarian and German War Cemetery where lies the remains of 454 fallen German soldiers and 8,128 of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. In 1956, 847 German soldiers who were killed in the Second World War were buried around the ossuary.
