Location Information

This cemetery is north-west of the city in the suburb of Levallois-Perret. Take the Periferique to the Porte d'Asnieres and then on to Rue Victor Hugo. Turn left in front of the railway bridge onto Rue Baudin. The Cemetery entrance will be found on the right.


Historical Information

The cemetery was used by the Hertford British Hospital.

There are 29, 1914-18 war casualties commemorated in this site. Four of these graves were brought from the permanent American Cemetery (No. 34) of Suresnes on the slopes of Mont-Valerien, begun in March, 1918 and containing 1,500 graves.

World War One Commonwealth Casualties: United Kingdom 22, Australia 3, Canada 3, New Zealand 1. Total 29.
