Location Information

Loupeigne is a village in the Aisne region of France. The French and German Cemeteries are located on the D79 between the villages of Loupeigne and Mareuil-en-Dôle

The cemetery was built in 1919 where the remains of 598 French soldiers, including 118 in the ossuary, died in combat in this area during the First World War, mainly in 1918.

There is also the grave of a French soldier who died during the 39-45 war.

In the German cemetery rest 478 soldiers who died in combat during the 1914-1918 war.

Total Burials: 1,077.
