Location Information

Masny is a smalll village located to the East of Douai in Northern France. The churchard is located in the centre of the village.

History Information

Masny Churchyard contains the grave of one Commonwealth airman of the First World War.


Burial Details

Captain William Eric Nixon, King's Own Scottish Borderers and 40th Squadron, Royal Flying Corps, died 7th May 1917, aged 19. Son of the Rev. W. H. Nixon, Vicar of Winster, of The Vicarage, Matlock.
