Location Information
The village and commune of Meurchin is about 16 miles (25 kilometres) north-north-east of Arras, and 3 miles (5 kilometres) north-west of Carvin, a small town on the N.25 road from Arras to Lens and Lille. There are bus services from both Lens and Lille, and also from Bethune, all of which have good train services. The German Military Cemetery is located adjacent to to the church.
Historical Information
The Cemetery contains 828 German War Dead from World War One, 24 are unidentified.
