Location Information
​

Mortagne-du-Nord is a village in the Department of the Nord just north of Valenciennes.


Historical Information

Mortagne-du-Nord Communal Cemetery contains five Commonwealth burials of the First World War.



Burial Details
​

6473 Private J. Carey, 15th Bn. Australian Infantry, A.I.F., died 14th August 1917.

86044 Private Francis Richard Latham, 11th Bn. Middlesex Regiment, died 20th March 1918, aged 40. Son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Latham, of Hereford. Born at Hereford.

43548 Private David Munro, 15th Bn. Royal Scots, died 11th September 1917, aged 32. Son of David and Euphemia Munro, of 53, Long Causeway, Dovecotland, Perth.

235213 Private Christopher Wainman, 1st/5th South Lancashire Regiment, died 13th March 1918, aged 39.

323055 Rifleman W. V. Willoughby, "B" Coy. 6th Bn. London Regiment (City of London Rifles), died 5th March 1918, aged 39.
