2856 Private William Edwin Gravell, 60th Bn. Australian Infantry, A. I. F. Died 30th June 1916, aged 29. Son of William Thomas and Emily B. Eleanor Gravell, of 27, Barrell St., Albert Park, Victoria. Born at Woodend, Victoria. INSCRIPTION. DEARLY LOVED SON AND BROTHER.
NB.The grave of Private Gravell was discovered and notified to the Commission in 2005. His name also appears on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial where he was previously commemorated but will be removed when the panel is next replaced.
