Location Information

Noyelles-Godault is a town located to the east of Henin-Beaumont. The Communal Cemetery is located to the North of the town.


Burial Details


61925 Sergeant William Alfred Barnes M. S. M. Observer in 25th Squadron, Royal Flying Corps, died 13th April 1917, aged 32. Son of William and Edith Barnes.

Second Lieutenant Allan Harold Bates, 25th Squadron, Royal Flying Corps, died 13th April 1917, aged 20. Son of Archibald and Harriet Elizabeth Bates, of 44, St. Helens' Rd., Swansea.

Lieutenant K. W. Holmes, Australian Flying Corps, died 11th August 1917. 

Lieutenant Percival Edward Kingsmith, 31st Bn. Canadian Infantry, died 4th May 1917, aged 28. Son of John and Nellie Kingsmith, of Queenstown, Alberta, Canada. Born at Swindon, Wilts, England.

Flight Commander Edward Arthur Hunter Ward, 22nd Squadron, Royal Flying Corps and 6th Bn. West Yorkshire Regiment (Prince of Wales's Own), died 11th August 1917, aged 20. Son of John Henry Ward, of 14, Lichfield Avenue, Waterloo, Liverpool.

All the graves are located at the South end of the cemetery.
