Location Information

The village of Roisin is located south-west of the town of Mons on the N553. From the motorway E19, which runs between Mons and Valenciennes, turn off at junction 26 onto the N552 direction Thulin/Dour. Follow the N552 to the town of Dour and the junction with the N553, turn onto the N553 direction Angre/Audregnies. Drive through the villages of Angre and Angreau and Roisin is the next village. On entering the village turn left at the crossroads into Rue E. Provost and go straight across the square into Rue De Chateau. At the T junction turn left and follow the road to Meaurain. The cemetery is along here on the left by the fork in the road. The graves are located to the front right of the cemetery.


Historical Information

Roisin Communal Cemetery contains 29 Commonwealth burials of the First World War, five of them unidentified. The graves, dating from November 1918, were brought in from other parts of the commune after the Armistice.
