Historical Information
​

Sec-Bois Communal Cemetery contains seven Commonwealth burials of the First World War, all dating from October 1914.

Burial Details

7803 Private W. Atkinson, 1st Bn. East Yorkshire Regiment, died 13th October 1914.

11212 Private J. W. Ditchburn, 2nd Bn. Durham Light Infantry, died 14th October 1914.

9206 Lance Coporal James William Lucas, 2nd Bn. Durham Light Infantry, died 14th October 1914, aged 26. Son of James N. Lucas, of 3, Crosby Terrace, Stockton-on-Tees.

8009 Private James Pearson, 1st Bn. East Yorkshire Regiment, died 13th October 1914, aged 28. Son of Mrs. Martha Ann Frost, of 31, Langdon St., Sheffield.

3/5349 Private T. A. Scott, 1st Bn. East Yorkshire Regiment, died 13th October 1914.

7002 Private J. Stanley, 2nd Bn. Durham Light Infantry, died 14th October 1914, aged 36. Son of Charles Stanley; husband of Caroline Stanley, of 52, Fourth Avenue, Manor Park, Essex.

7753 Private W. L. Todd, 1st Bn. West Yorkshire Regiment (Prince of Wales's Own), died 13th October 1914, aged 36. Son of Margaret and the late John Todd, of Sunderland; husband of Margaret Todd, of 104, Ward St., Hendon, Sunderland.
