Location Information
St. Olle is a village in the Department of the Nord 1 kilometre west of Cambrai on the main road towards Arras. From Cambrai follow the D939 road towards Arras. After about 2 kilometres turn left at a large roundabout towards the A2-A26 Motorway. The British Cemetery is about 600 metres down this road on the left.
History Information
St. Olle communal cemetery contains the graves of three soldiers from the United Kingdom and one from Canada. Three, who died as prisoners, are buried on the West side of the main path near the South end of the cemetery, and one who fell in October, 1918, is buried in the South-East corner.

141353 Private Albert Ernest Charman, 25th Bn. Machine Gun Corps (Infantry), died 24th June 1918, aged 35. Son of Mrs. R. Charman, of "Lynden," Blindley Heath, Lingfield, Surrey.
3231664 Private Charles Edward Heslip, 4th Canadian Mounted Rifles Battalion, died 2nd October 1918, aged 23. Son of James and Isabella Heslip, of Fetherston, Ontario. Born at Parry Sound, Ontario.
S/20391 Private William Alexander Reid, 7th Bn. Gordon Highlanders, died 23rd June 1918, aged 19. Son of Alexander and Mary Cowan Marshall Reid, of 8, Rennie St., Falkirk.
36459 Private J. Thomson, 10th/11th Bn. Highland Light Infantry, died 3rd July 1918.
