Location Information
St Ouen is a village and commune in the Department of the Somme, some 25 kilometres north-west of Amiens. The communal cemetery will be found on the main road in the direction of Berteaucourt les Dames. The War Graves Plot is situated at the extreme left of the cemetery.
History Information
The 3rd Casualty Clearing Station was posted here in April and May 1916, and the 39th from May to July 1916, and the British graves in the Communal Cemetery were made chiefly by those medical units. There are 29, 1914-18 war casualties commemorated in this site.
Identified Casualties: United Kingdom 25, India 4. Total 29.
