​Location Information

Winnezeele is a village 43 kilometres north-west of Lille, about 25 kilometres south-south-east of Dunkirk and approximately 5 kilometres south-east of Wormhoudt. In the churchyard, north-east of the church and near the boundary hedge is the Commonwealth plot.

1870452 Driver Frank Donald Anderson, 100 Army Field Company, Royal Monmouthshire Royal Engineers, died 30th May 1940, aged 26. Row B. 26. Son of Archibald Victor and Beatrice Alice Anderson, of Hornsey, Middlesex. His headstone bears the inscription "He Have His Life That We Might Live"

1465395 Gunner Frederick John Harmer, 211 Battery, 53 (The Worcestershire Yeomanry) Anti-Tank Regiment, Royal Artillery, died 28th May 1940, aged 22. Row B. 11. Son of George Frederick and Minnie Olive Harmer, of Bewdley, Worcestershire. His headstone bears the inscription "Safe In God's Keeping Until We Meet Again. R. I. P."

5387084 Private Albert Alexander Lawford, 4th Bn. 
Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry, died 10th May 1940. Row B. 4.

1985405 Sapper John Samuel Parsons, 110 Army Field Company, Royal Monmouthshire Royal Engineers, died 19th May 1040, aged 23. Row B. 24. 
Son of Edward Samuel and Lilian Parsons, of Newport, Monmouthshire.M.I.Mech. E. His headstone bears the inscription "Into Thy Hands, O God"
