Location Information

Asnières is a small town, 35 kilometres north of Paris on the D922. The Communal Cemetery is situated on Rue du Cimetiere, and the Commonwealth war graves will be found in the back (east) part of the new ground.

D/20791 Corporal James Chivas Smith M. M., B Squadron, 2nd Dragoons (Royal Scots Greys), died 3rd April 1918, aged 37. Son of James and Isabella Smith, of Cults, Aberdeenshire. His headstone bears the inscription "Ever Remembered"
