Second Lieutenant Ernest Stebbing Collier, 9th Brigade, Royal Garrison Artillery, died 2nd April 1918, aged 29. Son of T. G. and A. Collier; husband of Bessie Collier, of 26, Silverdale, Sydenham, London. Native of Fort Jackson, Cape Province, South Africa. His headstone bears the inscription "Called To Higher Service"
