Flavy-le-Martel is a commune 37 kilometres east of Roye. To get to Flavy-le-Martel Communal Cemetery, take the road to the hospital down to the railway station. Turn right and the Cemetery is on the right hand side. The Commonwealth war grave is located on the right hand side corner of the first plot.

L/3638 Private Charles Smith, "D" Squadron, 16th (The Queen's) Lancers, died 29th August 1914, aged 22. Son of William Henry and Agnes Mary Smith, of 44, Melbourne Grove, East Dulwich, London. Born at Camberwell, London.
