Second son of Col. H. E. M. Lindsay, C.B., R.E., and Mrs Lindsay, of Glasnevin, Co. Dublin, and Ystrad Mynach, Glamorgan; husband of Dorothy Lindsay Lindsay.
His headstone bears the inscription "2nd Beloved Son Of Col. And Mrs. H. E. M. Lindsay. Endure Forte"
