Location Information
Haramont is a small village in the Aisne department of France, 25 kilometres south-west of Soissons. From the N2, Soissons to Paris road, take the D973 to Pierrefonds. Take the first turning to the left, the D806 to Haramont. Haramont Communal Cemetery is found by taking a small road on the right-hand side of the D806 towards Tallefontaine from Haramont after crossing a disused railway bridge. The war graves will be found to the left hand side of the cemetery.

G/39379 Private Reginald Charles Sturt, 2nd/4th Bn. The Queen's (Royal West Surrey Regiment), died 24th July 1918, aged 24. Son of John Henry and Rosina Sturt, of 15, Council Cottages, Burrow Hill, Chobham, Surrey. His brother Herbert George Sturt also fell and is buried in Varennes Military Cemetery in France. His headstone bears the inscription "Rest In Peace Beloved Son He Gave His Life For Us Sadly Missed"
