Location Information

Martigny-les-Bains is a small village in the Vosges region of France. The Communal Cemetery is south of the village on the La Croix de Fer.

History Information

Martigny-les-Bains Communal Cemetery contains nine Commonwealth burials of the First World War, all of men of the Indian Labour Corps.

Burial Details: 

146 Labourer Bariar, 30th Company, Indian Labour Corps, died 23rd February 1918.

98 Labourer Bhayo, 30th Company, Indian Labour Corps, died 19th March 1918.

277 Labourer Bhola, 30th Company, Indian Labour Corps, died 22nd February 1918.

458 Labourer Damu, 52nd Company, Indian Labour Corps, died 16th March 1918.

1840 Labourer Khudu Hembron, 52nd Company, Indian Labour Corps, died 2nd March 1918.

1621 Labourer Kisa Kisku, 52nd Company, Labour Corps, died 11th February 1918.

391 Havildar Sagram, 30th Company, Indian Labour Corps, died 22nd February 1918.

1210 Labourer Samson Hembron, 52nd Company, Indian Labour Corps, died 8th March 1918.

1528 Labourer Hakur Soren, 52nd Company, Indian Labour Corps, died 18th February 1918.
