Location Information
The village of Quevy-Le-Petit is located south-west of the town of Mons off the N6. From the motorway E19/E42 turn off at junction 24a onto the R5 direction Nouvelles. Follow the R5 to the end and the junction with the N6, Turn right onto the N6 direction France. Follow the N6 to the junction with the N548 and turn right onto the N548 direction Quevy-Le-Grand. Follow through the first village and into Quevy-Le-Petit. At the church turn left and left again into Rue Sait Eloise and the communal cemetery is along on the left. The graves are located to the right of the cemetery by the wall.

229947 Gunner Thomas James Hoodless, 29th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery, died 16th November 1918, aged 22. Son of James and Elspeth Hoodless, of West View, Kingstown, Carlisle, Cumberland.
37160 Private A. Knapp, 7th Bn. Royal Fusiliers, died 9th November 1918, aged 34. Son of Francis George and Emma Knapp, of Newbury, Berks; husband of Rose May Knapp, of Medhurst Cottage, Burrow Hill, Chobham, Surrey.
13061 Lance Serjeant Charles Henry Maidment, 16th (The Queen's) Lancers, died 11th November 1918, aged 41.
Husband of Bessie Maidment, of 5, Duchy Cottages, Coombe Lane, Shepton Mallet, Somerset. Born at Bath.
Second Lieutenant Thomas George Sturgess, M. C. & M. M. 63rd Bn. Machine Gun Corps (Infantry), died 10th November 1918, aged 30. Husband of L. A. R. Sturgess, of "Pineside," Verwood, Dorset.
G/43360 Private Sidney Welch, 1st/8th Bn. Middlesex Regiment, died 9th November 1918, aged 26. Son of Mrs. Priscilla Welch, of 92, Philadelphia Lane, Norwich. Born at Old Catton, Norwich.
