Location Information
St. Quentin is a large town and an ancient cathedral city in the Department of the Aisne. The Faubourg-d'Isle (or South) Communal Cemetery is on the East side of the city, a little North of the road to Mont-d'Origny.
History Information
St. Quentin became Headquarters of the Royal Flying Corps, on the 25th August, 1914, but in a few days it passed into German hands; it was re-entered by French troops on the 1st October, 1918. There is 1, 1914-18 war casualty commemorated in this site.

52638 Private Frederick Vincent Saville, "A" Company, 1st Bn. West Yorkshire Regiment (Prince of Wales's Own), died 2nd December 1918, aged 20. Son of Clara and the late Fred Saville, of 2, Esmond St., Great Horton, Bradford, Yorks.
