Location Information

The Hague lies 24 kilometres north-west of Rotterdam, 60 kilometres south-west of Amsterdam and the same distance west of Utrecht. The cemetery is just north of the city centre, close to the Stadhuis (town hall) and is adjacent to the Hague General Cemetery. The entrance is on the Kerkhoflaan.

Burial Details

5587 Lance Sergeant George Patrick Diprose, 2nd Bn. 
Suffolk Regiment, died 29th September 1918, aged 33. Son of Joseph and Myra Josephine Diprose, of 48, Sun St., Waltham Abbey, Essex. Born at Rochester, Kent. His headstone bears the inscription "Greater Love Hath No Man This That A Man Lay Down His Life For His Friends"

9188 Sergeant T. Dolan, 2nd Bn. 
Royal Scots, died 13th May 1918, aged 34. Son of Patrick and Mary Dolan; husband of Helen O'Donnell Dolan, of 29, Albert St., Edinburgh. Born at Berwick.

5331 Sergeant William Owen Roberts, 1st Bn. 
Royal Welsh Fusiliers, died 15th November 1918, aged 39. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Roberts, of 88, Henllan St., Denbigh; husband of Marie Roberts, of 5, Ringsend Rd., Dublin. Born in Wales. Served in the South African War. (In the same grave is also buried Mrs. Paulina Catherina French.). His brother Edward Roberts also fell and is buried in Abbeville Communal Cemetery in France. His headstone bears the inscription "We Mourn Our Loved One But Do Not Murmur Dearest"

Paulina Catherina French, (Wife of Sergeant W. French, Suffolk Regiment) died 7th December 1919.
