VADENCOURT-ET-BOHÉRIES COMMUNAL CEMETERY

Location Information

Vadencourt is a small village 30 kilometres north-east of St Quentin and 7 kilometres north-west of Guise on the D960. The cemetery is situated down a small road opposite the church in the centre of the village, and the 5 Commonwealth war graves will be found against the right hand boundary wall.


Burial Details


71049 Private Harry Clews, 15th Bn. Durham Light Infantry, died 5th April 1918, aged 19. Son of Henry and Polly Clews, of 25, Grey Friars Place, Stafford.

268150 Private Edwin Johnson, 2nd/7th Bn. Royal Warwickshire Regiment, died 30th March 1918, aged 20. Son of Edward and Minnie Johnson, of 56, Cooksey Rd., Small Heath, Birmingham.

16873 Private C. Proffitt, 18th Bn. Lancashire Fusiliers, died 2nd April 1918.

28120 Private F. Walker, 1st/5th Bn. Border Regiment, died 30th March 1918.

252650 Private W. Wilson, 2nd/6th Bn. Manchester Regiment, died 3rd April 1918.
