Location Information

Vendegies-sur-Ecaillon is a village approximately 12 kilometres south of Valenciennes and approximately 10 kilometres west of Le Quesnoy. Vendegies Cross Roads British Cemetery is situated at the intersection of the Vendegies-Bermerain and Saulzoir-Villers Pol Roads.


Visiting Information

The location or design of this cemetery makes wheelchair access impossible.

The register is available in the Mairie on Monday ; Tuesday and Thursday from 9.00 to 12.00 and Wednesday from 14.00 to 17.00


Historical Information

This Cemetery was made by the XVII Corps early in November 1918.

The Cemetery covers an area of 418 square metres and is enclosed by a brick wall on two sides.

Total Burials: 48.

Identified Casualties: United Kingdom 48.

​The cemetery was designed by William Harrison Cowlishaw
