Location Information

Bézu-le-Guéry is 16 kilometres west of Chateau Thierry. The cemetery is on the right hand side of the D84 on entering the village off the N3. The cemetery contains 13 Commonweatlh burials of the First World War, seven of which are unidentified.

6187 Private Alfred John Bradley, "D" Company, 1st Bn. Lincolnshire Regiment, 8th September 1914, aged 32. Husband of Ada Rosetta Bradley of 4 Bridge Road Buildings, Battersea, London.

69233 Private John Cook, 1st Bn. Lincolnshire Regiment, 8th September 1914, aged 27. Husband of Irene Mary Cook of 22 Kendal Road, Hove, Sussex.

Captain Robert Edward DRAKE, (Mentioned in Despatches), 1st Bn. Lincolnshire Regiment, 8th September, 1914, aged 36. Son of John and Ellen Louisa Drake of "The Chestnuts", Long Melford, Suffolk. Native of Great Wratting, Suffolk.

7806 Private Edward Eagling, 1st Bn. Lincolnshire Regiment, 8th September 1914. Son of Mr. J. Eagling of Norwich Road, Beathorpe, Norfolk.

5835 Corporal William Stevens, 1st Bn. Lincolnshire Regiment, 8th September 1914. Husband of Mrs. E. Stevens of 7 Mitre Terrace, Spring Close, Lenton, Nottingham.

6990 Private Tom Swain, "D" Company, 1st Bn. Lincolnshire Regiment, 8th September 1914, aged 29. Son of John and Elizabeth Swain of Grantham, Lincs.
