COIVREL COMMUNAL CEMETERY

Location Information

Coivrel is a village situated 1 km south of the D938 which links the N17 Senlis/Roye and the Creil/St. Just-en-Chaussée roads in the Department of the Oise. In the south-west corner of the communal cemetery are two burials of the Great War belonging to the British Red Cross Society.


Burial Details


4548 Driver William McClymont Frame, British Red Cross Society, attached French Army. Croix de Guerre and Médaille Civique (France), died 3rd April 1918, aged 22. Son of John and Jane Frame (or McClymont) of 10 Brinkworth Terrace, York. Was stationed for two years at No. 2 Anglo-Belgian Hospital, Calais, where he gained the rank of Cpl. Before he became voluntarily attached to the French Army. Native of Campbelltown, Argyll.

4556 Driver E. Roberts, British Red Cross Society, died 3rd April 1918.
